Structure = Success
Feb 20, 2024Sometimes we just need to get back to basics.
When we start working with a new client in our program, the first thing we do is an audit, which sounds simple, but it’s a necessary starting procedure. Before we can help guide you in what you should do, we need to know what you’re doing.
One of the biggest problems we see with either established practices or side gigs is simply a lack of intentional structure. Sure, they can tell us how they do things, but sometimes they don’t really know why…or in other cases, they’ve just kept trying different variations of a process but not really outline or tracking the change with the variable they manipulated.
Now when we come in and provide some clear structure, maybe even with just some minor tweaks, we can start to see massive change. I’ll share a quick story and win from a recent client call:
I have a client who has run about 7 workshops in the past with about 80 participants in total in attendance but struggled to convert participants into clients because of a few issues: every workshop was different, there was minimal structure around the flow, and the intent was to provide value (rather than highlight the problem, present solution, and create value! - these things are very different).
So the first thing we did for this client was audit the workshop structure and provide our framework for exactly how we run workshops, using a proven system to help maximize conversions for those precious Saturday mornings.
This is where the magic happened. After they implemented the changes for their next workshop, they were able to schedule 3 new evals (4th pending) of the 10 attendees.
Yep, that’s an improvement from their 2.5% conversion rate to a 40% conversion rate with the new process… pretty drastic and, again, simple, not easy.
So what’s the lesson to be learned here? Structure = Success.
Every aspect of our program helps Performance Providers create structure in their business operations.
From sales process, relationship building (aka marketing), evaluations/assessments, programming, pricing, creating recurring revenue streams…. The list goes on, but you get the point.
Maybe you feel a little lost in business like what you’re doing is working, but just slowly… or in some cases, you wonder if at all… but I promise, if you’re willing to do the work, you can create the business you always dreamed about.
The first step just being open to the idea of some help. We’re ready when you are.
